I want to become a naturalised British Citizen this year. So I have taken the citizeship test and sent in my application form. Who knows how long it will take before my papers are reviewed. But it will be worth it to have my British passport and be able to take part in elections etc.

altho i was born in America i left when i was 12 to live in Barbados. So altho im an American i consider Barbados the place where I ‘grew’ up. I’m always torn when someone askes Where do you call home? Barbados where i grew up? or London where i’v been for 20years and will stay the rest of my life.

im sasha finlay. I live in london and have done for nearly 20years now. Im desperately trying to find myself this year. My life is going to go thru so many changes this year. Im leaving my husband and starting a new life over. Its going to be scary at first and im sure im gonna cry lots of tears in the next 6 months but its all gonna b worth it. Freedom,liberation and betterment is the goal. all emotional support accepted from the kind people on 43things xxx.

Well, after the multiple cheers I guess it would be a lot of fun! Plus we share some of the same goals…
